I don't care about the pretty pictures.
I want a better navigation that doesn't take me down every windy back road and residential neighborhood with a stop sign at every corner.
This is a far riskier trip for an accident just a save a few miles .
I want an option to navigate to only highways when possible.

Google Maps is riddled with software defects. How about fixing the defects first then make it prettier? I'm very disappointed at their sloppy software development and QA testing. They need to use software engineering best practices!
