the only thing I care about is the battery life. The 6a camera is pretty good. The drawback that a new phone will bring to me is battery life and how bright the display when outside on a very sunny day, so I can actually see the display. The 6a display is not great outside on a bright day

Surprised there's no mention of the alt displayport functionality, which is a big step forward for anyone thinking of using their phone as a portable computer.

The 6a is a piece of trash and that's why they stopped making it. My husband and I were forced to use them after our 5a's both randomly bricked themselves within a month of each other. The 6a's were the replacements Google gave us. Going from a phone with the best battery on the market to one that dies after 5 hours sucks. Mine also has a charging issue that I have to send it in for. My husband does door dashing on the side and the GPS on his phone was so bad he ended up just buying a new phone (not a pixel). As another user mentioned the screen brightness sucks. This phone would have been great 10 years ago but it simply doesn't compete with anything but the cheapest phones out today. I'm just glad we didn't actually pay for them. I feel bad for anyone who did as they got ripped off.

We were huge fans of the pixel phones before this but we won't be buying Google phones in the future. I imagine we're not alone in that. Hope Google found all their cost cutting worth it.
