Whatever. Prefer a separate application for my chat/VoIP, and Skype really delivered so far (excluding the fact that Skype 3.8 conflicts with Windows 7 and new Skype 5.x is much more consumptive). Nice to see some initiative from Google, but no.

Technology is one thing, adoption is another, people are still going to need an account of some sort to communicate and that becomes the barrier.
