Got (2) E6420's for the kids for Christmas. Hopefully they will run Minecraft?

Yeah they will be fine for basic minecraft. I let my grandkids play on my i3 based home theatre pc so you should be fine with an i5 and hd3000 graphics.

It should be okay. Probably max out at around 24 - 26 FPS outdoors.

Is Nvidia Quadro NVS 4200M (512 MB) the same thing as HD 3000 graphics I thought the Nvidia would be better?

The NVS 4200m is better than the Intel HD 3000, but at the same time it is also less powerful than the Intel HD 4000. The FPS I provided is a guess-timate based on what I have seen for the Intel HD 3000.

Well I hope I didn't screw up. I could have gotten something different but went with the NVidia cause it sounded better lol. Im not sure if anything in my price range came with the HD 4000 referbished
