Hello!

I have very a strage problem with my notebook (Gigabyte P34G-v2). Every 4 to 5 months, it is not booting into windows. After booting, it stops somwere loading windows. After deactivating my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M - 4096 M - onboard), it works again very well.
For me, this sounded very much like a serious hardware problem with my graphics card. Yet, after some months, the graphics card works again. After activating the graphic card for a test, Windows loaded perfectly. And the card is doing its job. After some months, this loop (grafic card working and then stoping work, again working) repaeted again. Now, my craficcard does not work again.
Does anybody has a clue, what could provoke such a strange behaviour?

Sincerely,

Erik

Solution
When electronics change temperature, connections shift. During use, the card could slowly drop the connections, then get connected again, and so on in a cycle.
