Great NEW laptop specs. but games still lag

My laptop has AMD Radeon HD 8650G + 8750M Dual Graphics Discrete. yet ive been trying to play Tomb Raider Underworld and It lags so much! it starts up fine but as soon as it loads the game, it doesn't work. what can I do to fix this?

Try updating to latest graphics drivers.

But in general, Dual Graphics is KNOWN to be TERRIBLE at lag. It brings good FPS, but not consistently.

Try only using your dgpu and see if that get's rid of the lag.

Dual graphics "is" known to cause terrible lag? Anyways dual GPU's will not cause you to lag in anyway. I'm curious as to what your other specs are. Ram, cpu.

Haven't you seen the tom's hardware reviews on dual graphics? The performance was great, but the lag was really bad on some games.

However, the new Kaveri + r7 dual graphics works a lot better.
