Ground wire for Technics sl 5 turntable

I picked up a Technics sl 5 turntable - seems to be in great condition but I need a ground wire. Any ideas on where I could pick one up or otherwise solve this?

You can use any piece of copper wire. One conductor of an AC cord is fine,
However if you connect the turntable and there is no hum you don't need it.
