Hey everyone, thank you for taking the time to read about my issue!

I purchased my laptop in June 2011 and recently about 3 months ago my laptop started giving a BSoD whenever the GPU is being used for more than about 30 seconds, saying nvlddmkm.sys has stopped responding...

I have reinstalled windows and installed several versions of drivers listed on nvidias site include the latest 337.88, 335.25 and even went all the way back to 285.62, so I am guessing that there is some sort of deeper, non-software issue.

Thank you for any help you guys can give!

Yea I blew out the dust before posting, should have mentioned that... There was probably a quarter inch think of dust on the heatsink but even after taking it out, it's still having driver failures... Could new thermal paste possibly help you think?

Might be worth a try, beyond that I don't know. Maybe an extensive Googling might bring up some repair options or youtube videos? Heat has a tendency to kill and warp laptop components so it could be damaged.
