GTX970M 3GB vs GTX980M 4GB

hello, I'm fairly new to this website and I have a question about these 2 graphics card

how different are they? and is It worth it to pay 300 dollars extra (laptop) for the change from 970 to 980

If you want to play at the highest settings at 1080p then the gtx 980m is worth the extra money. You should get around 40% more with the gtx 980m than the gtx 970m. But make sure that the laptops have very good cooling as they do produce quite a bit of heat.
