what ya 15 inch driver compared to kappa

guess it depends on what you are trying to use it for
Gauss was made for musical instruments, bass guitar. The cabinet size and port size / depth of the port can make all the difference. So if you plan on putting a speaker in just any cabinet, you may lose the efficiency.
And again an electronic crossover, compressor, eq, and separate amps for low, mid, high can make quite a difference too.
