Guide for choosing a gaming laptop

Help me guide me on how to choose a gaming laptop, only things i know is the budget is not over $2200.

amount of GDDR5 only matters with the resolution, 3-6GB is fine for 3k screens. will need 4GB + for 4k. both models will work perfectly fine

Thank, but asus Rog g750jm is super thick and very heavy, i will carry my laptop around school a lot of the time and the just wana tell that the reaon i will buy a laptop that cost $2200 because personally i like portabilities and the second resound is i will not planning to build a desktop pc so i plan to use my lots of my money on a laptop.

Dam!! SLI Gaming laptop.
Have you guys see the new aorus x7 pro, Dam this thing is a beast, it supper powerful. IT come with a new 8410 Haswell CPU and it come with a 2x 970 (SLI) OMG, but it so expensive tho haha

Oops. When I said university in Indiana, I was referring to Purdue University.
The information is from the xotic pc invoice that I have from my ordered laptop. It should arrive in a couple of weeks after which I can post some information about it so that it might help others out.
Im very new to the forums so I am learning my way around things right now.

To answer your question, the vram on the 970m for my model is 6gigs. There is an option to upgrade to the 980m which has 8gigs of vram too.
