Hard Drive not showing

I removed a hard drive with windows 10 from a lenovo laptop and inserted it in an hp 530 laptop but the hard drive is not booting or showing anything

This is asked constantly.

You cannot install Windows on machine#1, take it to machine#2 and expect it to work, specially if machine#1 not the same brand/model as machine#2.

Why, Microsoft made it that way, am guessing for licensing purposes.
