Hardware Profiles Showing Incorrect Docking Status - Windows XP SP3

Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude D600 Laptop and a Dell PR01X Docking Station and the laptop is not showing the correct docking status on either of the profiles.

The computer is running Windows XP SP3 with the most current Microsoft and Dell patches and updates (at least to my knowledge).

For some reason, whenever I attempt to specify the docking status type for the hardware profiles (Select the HW Profile -> Properties) all the options are grayed out and there is a check mark next to docked. I cannot change this entry and it doesn't change at all when I connect or disconnect the computer from the docking station.

Any ideas what might be going on? I can only find KB articles for SP1 or Ubuntu. Thanks a million.
