Having mic issues.

When ever I have my mic plugged into my mixer there is always a ringing, even when I turn down the boost on my mic.
I have the Tascam TM-78 Mic and Alesis MultiMix4 4 Channel USB Mixer.

These condenser mics require phantom power to work properly and are very sensitive. I have my condenser mic running through a 12 channel mixer desk and it is attenuated a lot compared to the other mics I use - mainly a Shure SM58 (these don't require phantom power via an XLR like the TM-78.
