HD CamCorder Recommenations

I am a professional filmmakers shooting a TV doc with the Canon 7D. One of our subjects wants to shoot some footage that he thinks might be good to include in the program but wants to buy a user-friendly cam corder. Does anyone have an recommendations for a camera that shoots HD 16:9 NTSC?

How much is your client budgeting for the camcorder? The Canon 32GB VIXIA HF G20 Full HD Camcorder ($999.99) is user friendly and has some nice manual controls. It has 32GB of internal memory and two SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots as well. Battery life is pretty decent as well (I have gotten 80 - 90 minutes on the included battery with the LCD screen closed). If this is too much then let me know the budget range and I'll be glad to help.
