Hdd password

Hello,
My toshiba laptop has died but i needed the info off the hdd I have put the hdd into another toshiba but it is asking for a password i know the password but it is not accepting it anyone got any ideas?

What toshiba laptop did it come fron, was it a newish laptop, I am thinking TMP or Bitlocker here, any one else any ideas!
