I bought a hdmi splitter one male two female, but when I connect them to 2 tvs, I get no signal in both, they are connected to my computer

those kinds of splitters dont work like that they take 2 inputs to 1 output not 1 input and split it to 2 outputs, you need a hdmi splitter and repeater like this.

Passive HDMI splitters are not a good choice.
