Hi, I have a doubt on which connection type outputs a better audio with hdmi. I have included a map that illustrates two ways that outputs video to my tv but i doubt which way outputs better audio.
Im outputing video and audio from my Mi Box. Its advertised as it has Dolby Digital Plus and the DTS thingy. The receiver im using is XV-BD717, it also has DTS stuff logo on it.

Would appericate if anyone can explain which way outputs better audio or its just the same.
p.s: Im using hdmi 2.0 cables.

Solution
If the source and destination both have DTS it will work, as the source compresses the multichannel and the destination decodes.

Easiest is to hdmi from source to receiver then hdmi from receiver to tv.

Basically choose B. Most flexible configuration.
