HDMI only works with Extend mode, Duplicate and SS only will only give me the audio, screen goes black

So the extend mode works, but on Duplicate/SS only its just the audio that works, but the screen goes black on the TV.
I did use duplicate mode before with the exact same laptop and TV, and all my drivers are up to date. Thanks in advance

If the resolution of the laptop screen isn't compatible with the TV then the TV will show a black screen in duplicate/SS.
If you reset the resolution to be compatible with the TV the laptop screen may not look right.
In the extended mode each display is set individually.
