HDMI PC speakers?

Does anyone know if any company (possibly logitech) has any plans to make a pc speaker system that has an HDMI input/output or even pass through?

Probably not. For one, not many mobos support HDMI output by default (small market), and only ASUS has a soundcard equiped with HDMI in/out (the HDAV 1.3 is meant for Home Theatre systems anyway). Analog still works fine for a 2.0 system, and Spdif works perfectly up to 5.1. High-end 7.1 systems are the only systems that need the extra bandwith of a HDMI connection anyway.
