HDMI to Coaxial

Hello,
I have an old amplifier with coxial inputs/outputs and all the present High defiiernation LED TV's have HDMI connections. The TV I am interested in has all HDMI inputs/outputs is there any way I can use my old amplifier without deteriration of picture or sound.

Your TV does not have HDMI outputs only inputs. It should have an optical digital audio output that can be converted to coax digital with a device like this

If you have a set top box that will have digital outputs you can use. All DVD and Bluray players have digital audio out so you can connect both of these to the old amplifier directly for audio and use the HDMI to get picture and sound to the TV.
