HDTV Capacitor Replacement

I recently replaced some capacitors on the power supply of my HDTV. I applied a bit too much and accidentally connect some contacts together. However, the TV works fine using the power supply. I'm wondering why it didn't short circuit when I turned it on. I'm also wondering if there are any long term effects I should be concerned about. Here is an image of the board as it is now:

I would pick up some soilder wick and make sure there connected. you may have gotten lucky and there a common ground between them. most time when you make a soilder bridge things smoke.
