Headphone jack brocken

My headphone jack on laptop is broken. Half of the plastic casing has snapped off meaning headphones are really loose when I insert them. The actual sound still works perfectly if I hold headphones at awkward angle. Quoted £90 to fix this so I bought USB sound card off Amazon. The quality of this was so poor despite excellent headphones. My laptop has dolby built in sound. Can I get a cheap sound card which matches my laptops high quality sound? Cheers

What make and model sound card did you get? Budget?
