Headphones Not Loud

Hi, I I have used a few different sets of headphones on my new laptop and none of them seem to get near loud enough. I have tried a few eq and "loudness" downloads but none work. Does anyone have recommendations on software that would work to make them louder or is this a limitation in my laptop because it simply does not have enough amplifier power to run them any louder?

Model numbers don't matter.

If all your volume settings are max, its a physical hardware amplification limit.

Earphones need less power than headphones. Failing that with will need an external amp to get the extra power needed.

Found a decent looking little amplifier on Amazon.

That would explain why my so-so sony ear buds are louder than the nicer sennheiser headphones. This will help sound quality too. Thanks.
