Headphones not working properly please help

My in ear headphones have stopped working properly. I have the xiaomi pistons 2 and when plugged in fully i can only hear the beat of the song it seems echoey. However, if i put the headphones in half way in they work perfectly!!

I have tried the headphones on multiple devices and same problems occurs and i have tried other headphones that i have and have no problem.

Try to disable to microphone and anything else that may be listed as a special feature built into the headphones.

I have the same problem on my phone as well with headphone so i'd imagine this wouldn't fix the problem
