Headphones occasionally make "pop" sounds.

My headphones make occasional popping sounds every now and then when watching videos on youtube or netflix, however is untoticeable whilst playing games. I am using a Turtlebeach recon 320 headset and am wondering what on Earth could be causing this. All drivers are up to date as far as I can tell.
