Headphones with deep bass

Currently in the market for a new pair of headphones.

I want deep, rumbling bass; not punchy.

These days its mainly to do with the sound chip eg Realtek ALC 1150 if possible. Most with 40 or 50mm drivers will give a good bass response.

First of all you didn't even state if this is for a stereo, TV, or for PC gaming. Anyway,

1) You want quality STEREO headphones.

2) Driver (speaker) size is very important as well.

3) Investigate OHM if using audiophile headphones as not all are suitable. Incorrect values will be far too loud even at lowest. If for PC then use the OHM values for gaming headphones.

4) PRICE for headphones varies a lot. Generally $100 to $200 gets really great headphones. Google for reviews but I didn't bother since I wasn't certain of your usage.

I don't have a specific model in mind though but I have older Sony's that I love.
