Headset and monitor sound

I have a samsung monitor p2270HN, which I use for my pc / ps3 , the sound through the headset on the pc is fine, but everytime that i connect the headset on monitor for playing ps3, I can hear a really annoying noise on the background, it's like a frequency/pitch sound, and it keeps getting higher or lower when i'm switching between menus. When i'm playing if the game is doing constant sound (like a music) the noise disappears, but in games like silent hill for example, when It's all quiet, you hear the noise all the time, any idea of what that might be?

There is not much in the manual on EM interference ... try tidying up the cables behind the monitor first ... and moving the PS3 away from it and the PC to see if that is the problem.
