Headset Buying Advice Needed!

I'm looking for a Gaming Headset around the £25-£50 range. I've had a look around and come up with these:

Any help would be appreciated, i do not have a sound card yet, allthough that would be a future upgrade.

The best type of headset covers the entire ear like a cup.
Avoid headsets that press foam pads against the ear.

Go to the Hi Fi store and try them yourself.
I like Sennheiser and Stax, but what sounds good to you alone, is the obvious choice.
Reviews don't mean much these days, especially when anybody can make one. It's probably a bad choice to select audio equipment according to reviews...

I like Grado and Sennheiser and own some inexpensive Sennheisers which cover my ears and sound pretty good. And like soundguruman says Stax probably are the highest rated phones out there. Also like he says, listen and don't choose only by ratings.
