Headset only plays through left ear on phone, works perfect on PC

Last night It was fine. Today i am listening to something but as soon as I resume it, it only plays out of left ear. For two days before that my phone starting having a sound as if there was background static but not as aggresive. Help!

if the headset is working fine on other devices then u need to recheck ur phone input port for discrepancy...
