Question Headset sounds like I'm in a tunnel, sounds strange

I have a pair of A10'S had them for a year no problems. Yesterday I was using my rift and when I switched my audio back to my headphones the audio sounded totally off, tinny, slight echo just all around bad. Looked in audio settings didnt notice a difference in the settings. Uninstalled drivers etc. Tried both 3.5 jacks (front and back) nada, really confused any help would be appreciated!
