Solved! Headset sounds plays through microphone.

This is a final call for help i have read every forum out there on this issue. i will try to remember all the solutions i have tried.

1. Changing headset and mic(had a g430, now dt990+modmic)
2. Reinstalling drivers
3. Disabling other devices/drivers (stero mix, nivida sound, etc)
4. Realtek option to seperate input
5. CHANGING COMPUTER!?!?(litterally have built a entire new computer and still have the issue.)
6. No its not just discord or skype, it is everywhere.
7. Updating bios.
8. All the settings in speakers and recording. (Listen to this device, echo cancellation, etc.)

If you have any solutions outside of the ones listed i will be happy to hear them. Im at my wits end, it just seems like i have been cursed by the supernatural.

Have you right clicked the speaker icon, gone to your sound settings, output (Or something along those lines. I don't have a Windows machine on me right now to confirm), and changed the output to your headset's speakers?
