Headset under $60

Solution
If you can stretch it I would purchase this one: http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=612889

If you want to save some money and get an easy to use and setup headset then I advise this one: http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=609655

I actually have the second headset, and I love it. I've had it now for about 4 years, and it still works really well. The thing I liked the most about it, is that pretty much any game with voice chat just works as long as the headset is plugged in before loading the game. No setup required at all in the games I play. It is a cheaper headset, but the build quality is excellent. It has a very thick cable that can take a beating, and the sound is not too bad either.

Now maybe headsets working out of the box is the norm now in games, but I can remember years ago having to mess with audio settings in XP to get a headset to work, and then in the games themselves. It was a pain, lol. Maybe it was just a case of USB vs. 3.5mm jacks...
