Headset Wont Work Anymore With Soft Sound

Hey guys, I've recently been using a Turtle Beach Z22, its been fine since a couple of days ago. When I'm in a game and people are shooting and what not I can hear everything fine, but when the game goes more quiet, I cant hear softer sounds such as footsteps or gun reloading etc; It goes completely mute. Someone please help if you could D

Sounds like either you busted the headphone blasting sounds well above their design rates, or you busted your ears.

Also note that if you're using "7.1" stuff it might just be that your mixer is screwed up, and you should switch to "headphone" presets in game.

Yeah well on my mixer the in game chat volume now controls the main volume as it wont work when I turn it up or down. Its even in Youtube videos aswell when its dead quiet its goes blank

You need to reinstall your drivers then, with all settings cleared. You probably fiddled with something or it just got corrupted.
