I have the turtle beaches x12 which i used for my xbox. I now got a pc built finally and i want to use it on that. My motherboard is the Asus z97-a 3.1 usb. So it used Realtek if that makes any difference.

When i plug my head set in the computer, realtek comes up and asks what hardwhere i plugged in, i select mic and headphone. then i go into the game and when i talk people say they have a hard time hearing me sometimes, and that when they talk it echos way to much on their end. I hear everyone fine. There are mulitple settings when it comes to mic boost, and recording volume both on realtek audio manager, and black ops 3 chat menu. I have been to the control panel and it says my hardware is set to defult or what ever. I spent way to long trying to get it set up on skype with my friend and i guess it worked that night, but last night i couldnt get it set up in game chat for the life of me. also my mic has a game control and chat control, but it seems to place the chat and game under just the game control volume switch. so i have the chat and game on the same switch and it makes it hard to hear people talk like that.

I dont know if i asked this in the right place, but yeah. If someone could point me in the right direciton, or link me to something that shows what i asked that woudld be great!

alternatively, what head set do you use that works well with realtek and ingame chats? I'm going to try to plug everything in now and reset everything to defults to see if that helps at all. but it wont change how my game and chat volume are on one switch. I'd love to be able to control them seperately if thats possible.
