Please help! I have difficulty understanding speech when there's a lot of background noise in movies and TV shows; clear dialog settings are inadequate so I use a speech amplification device.
Recently purchased a new Sony 900F TV and a Sonos Beam. The TV automatically disabled ALL other audio out options when the "audio system" was detected. My speech amp can be set up via audio or optical cabling. Neither option works because all of the "ports" are disabled due to the "audio system."
Is there a way for me to get all my equipment playing nicely together so I can use my hearing "aid" (while simultaneously allowing others in the room to listen the normal way)?
My Equipment: Sony TV 900F, Sonos Beam, Comcast cable box, a speech amp device (Simolio), and a Roku.
Thanks for your help!
