Hello TomsHardware community, I'm currently looking for a gaming laptop that is able to play games such as BF4, GW2 and Cod Ghosts. Battery life doesn't matter to me as it will be plugged in 99% of the time. I don't care about any cosmetic features, I don't care how heavyor big it is, I don't care about heat unless it could be a problem. I'm looking for a machine with the best performance for the money. I'm looking to spend no more than 1,100$ and have an i7 preferably not an i5.

The laptop that I'm currently looking into is the Lenovo Y510p however i'm reluctant to buy it because of issues with SLI, and micro stuttering problems. Also the minute you google Y510p 755m SLI all you get is threads and error reports about the laptop. I was looking at this model specifically http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834313740

I'm open to any other options (USA

The optical drive is not important, nor is the touch screen aspect. I basically want the best performance, I would get a Desktop, but I'm not in a place were I could have one (personal issues) so if it's huge and bulky, but is a beast at gaming, I'll take it
