If you can bump up your budget to $950 (before shipping and tax) then you can buy the Dell Inspiron 7577 with a core i5-7300HQ and GTX 1060.

Otherwise you can buy either $850 (i5-7300HQ) or $900 (i7-7700HQ) version of the Dell Inspiron 7567 with the GTX 1050 Ti.

The GTX 1050 Ti provides similar performance as the GTX 970m. The GTX 1060 is more powerful than the GTX 980m; it's performance is about the same as a desktop GTX 970.
