Solved! HELP!!! Confused on which laptop to pick!!!!

Okay, I have 2 laptops here and I have no idea which one I should get. This is a gift for my brother and the maximum amount of money I have is $650. My brother will use it mostly for class (He needs one for the next semester) for homework, papers, movies, web surfing and light gaming (Cod2 and Cod4). Best Buy is the only place I can buy because I have $450 of Best Buy gift cards lol.

So what is a better deal, and what will perform better for games.

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6620G discrete-class graphics. It a intergrated GPU.

Either choice works will handle the homework, papers, movies, web surfing workload nicely.
The Core i5-2430M / GT 540M combo is the better option for light to medium duty laptop gaming.
