Help hooking up old receiver/speaker set up to pc.

So, I found an old Sony STR-D790 receiver in my parents garage and I was looking to use it for my new speakers with my PC. I get the hooking up the speakers to the receiver, but not to my PC. Please help.

So the STR is STEREO only analog.

This brings us to a very simple connection: PC (green connector) to STR (I use CD IN).

I guess I didn't "get" how the speakers are supposed to be hooked up to the receiver, because I can't get audio out of them. I thought I had them hooked up correctly.

Notice you have speakers A and B, and as long as your selection knob is on A, there is nothing else to say this baby is broken.

I'm an idiot. I had it set to a+b. I just assumed it wouldn't make a difference. It does.
