I bought a sades headset. It came with 1 cord, but came with a splitter as well. At first it worked fine, but a week later the mic only picks up sounds from my computer and not from me. Is there a reason for this?

it's probably in your sound options if you are using windows , maybe you configured it before to play music when you play online games ?

I never knew you could configure it in certain ways, but I just use my audio for everything. Its only my mic that wont work. It registers, but it doesnt pick anything up and I never changed settings
