Help! Need a super fast gaming laptop under $800?

I really don't know anything about laptops, honestly. Right now I have an Acer Aspire 1350 that I got when I was about 10 for my birthday. I'm 18 now and I'm looking for a really fast computer that can handle me putting a loooot of games on it (like the Sims, Harry Potter, Roller Coaster Tycoon, etc.) I found a laptop called the Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5830TG-6402 that sounded really good, but it's apparently out of stock everywhere? I'd really like to keep it under $800. All I do on the computer is write papers for school, play games, listen to music, update my iPhone and iPad and go on social networking sites (like Facebook). My main concern is that the laptop can handle a lot of games and will go really fast. Please help!! Thank you.

I will get the Asus.

Shipping for Acer and free shipping for Asus. Turns out price difference is only about $5 but you get bigger HDD.

Also, I had problems with Acer before and I will prefer Asus over Acer.
