Help needed choosing a laptop that fits my needs

Sorry if there was something I'm missing and this shouldn't be a post I'm making, just in advance, I just joined today and need immediate help.
I need a laptop that's semi-powerful, not too powerful, around $200-$450, and isn't a "disposable" laptop, meaning once you're done with it all you can do is throw it away.
Hard drive size doesn't honestly matter, I have an external from my old laptop.
No, I don't want a desktop. Please don't offer me one.
I don't care the size or weight, as long as it meets every other specification.
All I need is a laptop to put on my amazon wishlist that is capable of playing games at a good speed while livestreaming.

What kind of games are you hoping to play on this semi-powerful, around $200-$450 ($200? No such thing, new) laptop? Would you be willing to consider used or refurbished laptops?

No offence but would you trust a refurbished laptop? A new laptop will guarantee to work and keep working for a long time and it has warranty for added protection, there's got to be a reason for something to be refurbished. And finally all laptop can play games(light, facebook type), but laptops 450$ and below will struggle real hard to play any modern(2010-now) games at even the lowest setting possible for your information.
