Hi,
Recently I I've had my laptop motherboard destroyed and I need a new one. Now, my question is, are laptop motherboards interchangeable? In other words, can I use a motherboard that was not identical to the original motherboard to run the PC. My guess is, I can but I'm sure there are some caveats here and there. My original motherboard came from this products series, http/www.sparepartswarehouse.com/part.aspx?partnumber=738156501&mfg=hp&sdevicetype=laptop and I'd buy this one if they weren't out of stock and I can't find the part anywhere else. Is there one that I can buy on another site or a motherboard that will work just as good hopefully?
Thanks,
Dean
