Alright... So I just bought the Sony DSC-H9 and it's awesome. Now I'm messing around quite a bit in Manual mode and its pretty cool stuff. But I'm still confused on what everything means, like what it REALLY means.

So I have my ISO Value, Shutter Speed, Aperture Value, Exposure Value, AF Range Finder Frame Indicator.

I'm trying to figure out what all of this combined really cooralate too in real life scenarios. For example what values should I have them set too in Low Light, Outdoor, Fast Motion, ETC. And I'm not looking for anything precise but just to get a rule a thumb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the section call Digicam Dictionary to start but you really need to do a lot of research on various photo sites. If the camera came with a manual, it should explain a lot of this stuff. Some local camera stores offer classes, frequently one night and not very expensive and this would be worthwhile checking out. In a nutshell, there is a lot to learn if you're going to use manual settings
