[HELP] Why is AVG making me lose internet connection?

I am assuming that AVG is making lose internet connection every 5 minutes or so because the problem fixes after I disable AVG security and firewall temporarily. What should I do?

uninstall and reinstall, or uninstall and get another antivirus program like avira or avast.
