Help with choosing a laptop?

I am looking for a laptop to be used for gaming so to sa. I already have a rather decent desktop so I know what the expectations of the laptop should be. Since I am starting online classes and will be traveling a lot I need a laptop and would much prefer one that could easily handle the games I want to play.

For this laptop I really only see myself playing Paradox games on it. So EU4, CKII, HOI, and etc. Possibly some of the older TW games (nothing newer than Napoleon). I would like for it to play these comfortably.

Would really prefer to stay below $1000, but I would be willing to pay just a bit more if this one in particular was well worth the price:

As you games are not that demanding by looking at the recommended specs the asus should be more than enough to play those games. I don't know if the sagar is more reliable as I have never used one but I do know that the asus will last you a long time as I have the n series line.
