Help! with factory reset

My father passed away and I now have his laptop I have no need for any info on it. I just want to do a factory reset so my wife can use it and stay off mine Haha. it is a Toshiba Satellite C875D-S7105. can any one help me?

If there isn't a message on the first black screen you see at boottime telling you which Function key to press for that option, it doesn't have that facility.

Push the power button while holding the 0 key (ZERO) until you see the windows loading screen or hear a long beep. Then you can go through the steps to factory reset from there.

It is also helpful to know what version of windows it has. Let me know what happens on the "hold 0 start up" option.

It is windows 8.1 I did not know the password but with the hold 0 I was able to fenagle my way into the bios and am now wiping the hard drive I'll l

et you know if I am able to get to boot up and creat a user after i wipe the drive thanks!
