Hi, so my MSI was installing updates and I didn't realize it wasn't connected to the charger, so it didn't successfully update and shutdown in the middle of it. Now I turn it on, it flashes the MSI logo and just has on the bottom "preparing automatic repair" it is continuous on a loop and then suddenly returns to a blank, black screen, doing nothing. Help, I really don't know what to do, I can't get into my laptop, and I am sure it isn't healthy for it to just be running blank like this. If anybody has an idea how to fix this, please help me. I am desperate.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to do a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will still not boot up, load the laptop into BIOS and reset it's defaults. Press F9 to reset it to defaults then press F10 to save and exit.
- Next to try would be to reinstall Windows itself.
- Here's how if your using Windows 10 pre-installed.
