Help with speaker setup

Hi, i recently got new speakers and i have a problem. Do i put my speakers on full volume and my computer volume low, or vice versa

to get the signal as clean as possible set the computer to full 100%, and adjust the speaker volume.

I think the best way is to have the computer on full then adjust the speakers to the requires volume.
This gives the maximum signal strength to the speakers and will give a better signal to noise ratio.
